Who these terms apply to
Leaf IA, Romania, Europe provides One Little Line as a personal memory-keeping service. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Using the app
The app is designed for personal or household use. You may use it to keep family memories for yourself and your household. You must use it lawfully and must not misuse the service, interfere with it, or try to access data that is not yours.
Accounts and security
You sign in with a supported identity provider — such as Apple, Google, or Facebook where available — and are responsible for keeping access to your device and account secure. If you believe your device or account is compromised, you should treat it as you would any other private account and take steps to secure it.
Your content
The memories, words, photos, child profile details, and generated monthly letters you keep in the app remain yours. You give us the limited rights needed to host, process, sync, organize, generate, export, and show that content back to you inside the app. You are responsible for the content you choose to upload, store, edit, or share through the app, including whether it contains sensitive, private, or third-party information.
AI-assisted organization
Some functionalities of One Little Line are powered by AI. The app may use automated systems, models, or other software-assisted tools to organize, classify, summarize, suggest, sort, generate monthly letters or snapshots, and otherwise support parts of the product experience. These tools may use the current month’s memories and recent prior entries for the same child context to improve tone and continuity. These features may change over time, may expand in scope, and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for every purpose.
Writing together (circles)
You may invite another adult to help keep a child's memories, or join a circle you are invited to. The person who created a child's profile is its owner and manages the circle, including who can write and removing co-writers. Everyone in a circle can see the memories, photos, and monthly letters connected to that child; you may edit or delete only the memories you wrote. Memories you write stay with the circle if you leave or are removed, attributed to you. You are responsible for whom you invite and for the content you add to a shared child. If a circle's adults disagree (for example, parents who separate), the owner controls the profile and the circle; we cannot mediate family disputes and will act only on the account-level controls and legal requirements available in the app. If you delete your account, you choose whether the memories you wrote remain with the circle without your name or are deleted; ownership of a shared child transfers to a remaining member so the child's archive is not lost.
Plans, billing, and trial
One Little Line may offer free access, trials, paid subscriptions, or other paid features. Billing happens through the platform you use — Apple on iOS, Google Play on Android, or other services depending on the platform. Any subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through that store account, and the store may apply its own additional terms, billing rules, taxes, and payment rules.
Service providers
To provide a best-in-class service at a highly competitive cost, we work with trusted third-party providers that help us maintain a great experience for parents and caretakers. These currently include Supabase (authentication, database, storage, and server functions), Mistral AI (letter and tag generation), RevenueCat (subscription status), Apple and Google (sign-in, device services, and billing), Expo (push notifications and app updates), and technical analytics and diagnostics tools such as PostHog and Sentry. Their roles and how they handle data are described in the Privacy Policy.
Memory limits and deletion
The app may apply writing, storage, archive, export, or access limits depending on your plan or current product rules. If you delete a memory or delete your account, related data may still be retained by the service for up to 365 days for recovery, operational, security, fraud-prevention, billing, legal, or compliance purposes. If your paid access ends, your archive may pause under the current product rules and removal from user access may be scheduled up to 60 days from the last successful payment, while retained data may still be kept internally for the longer retention periods described above.
Availability and changes
We reserve the right to adjust, modify, or discontinue the app, its functionalities, features, prices, and subscription packages as the product evolves; material changes to paid plans apply from your next billing period. We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, outages, provider failures, and product changes can happen. We may add, remove, or change features over time.
Exports, backups, and ending use
You can export your memories and generated monthly letters from the app on both Apple and Google platforms, including PDF sharing where available. Keeping your own export is the best way to maintain an independent backup of important moments. If you manually share or export information from the app, you are responsible for that disclosure. We are not responsible for how that information is handled once you choose to share it outside the service. If you use sealing for monthly letters, that is an in-app preserved state and not permanent external storage. You can stop using the app at any time by signing out, canceling your subscription through Apple, deleting memories, or deleting your account from settings.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise that the app will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under consumer law that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the app evolves. When that happens, we will update this page inside the app. ${LEGAL_CONTACT_EMAIL ?
